Episode #8 is up NOW!

Episode #8 of the Fro Show is up now on iTunes, Stitcher and Mixcloud for your listening pleasure. It is featuring indie rock and pop tracks from:

KASHKA - Hands In
KASHKA is the music of Kat Burns. You may know her from her previous work in Forest City Lovers or maybe you bumped into her one day. The future is now.

These recordings were a collaboration project with James Bunton, production engineer and drummer for Ohbijou.

Lilting melodies sung over lush moonscapes of echoes, synths and drums. I hope you enjoy it.

Moon & Sun - Where The Wild Things Are
Moon & Sun is the work of Swedish songwriter and visual artist Monica Tormell. Influenced by lonesome, gloomy atmospheres and Caribbean tunes her music sets out to explore sonic constellations from the primitive to the electronic and manipulated.

The Search - The Heart is a Lonely Hunter
In 1999, a group of teenagers found their musical paths crossing each other. Johan Zeitler, Jonathan Nilsson, Tina Bergström, Tomas Svahn, Joakim Jacobsson and Razmig Tekeyan founded The Silverslut in Uppsala, Sweden. In 2003 The Silverslut changed their name into The Search and released their first full-length album, The Search in 2004 which was highly praised by the people who heard it.

Evils That Never Came - The Watchers
Evils That Never Came is a music project featuring an eclectic hodgepodge of session artists and/or friends. The band was formed in Los Angeles in early 2002 and the debut album “June” (EP) was released In March of 2004. The last release was the LP, Northerly Windings, 2010.

The Black Atlantic - Darkling, I Listen
Two years after releasing their debut album Dutch folk-rockers The Black Atlantic have released their new EP ‘Darkling, I Listen’. The five songs offer a wide array of elements and influences, from Phil Spector-esque orchestrated chamber pop to 60’s Motown soul sensibilities. It also takes informed cues from current indie epitomes such as Grizzly Bear, Fleet Foxes, and Bon Iver.
