Taking influences from Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Jonny Lang and Motown Roberto started playing the guitar while in high school eventually playing in some bands, more recent The New Antiques from San Fransisco, California. He has recently moved back to Tempe to begin working on more solo stuff.
